Deuteronomy 5:16 – NKJV At one time the Commandments of God were held in high esteem in our nation. Children were catechized and taught Scripture by their parents and Church. Schools, colleges and universities reinforced this teaching to the students. America was a shining light – a city on a hill for all the world to see. America was a great nation when America honored, worshipped and obeyed the true Living God. Now America has become a dim light among the nations. She doesn’t shine nearly as bright as before. She has left her first love and is seeking to be just like all the other nations of the earth. And it is with shock and sorrow that I see my children and grandchildren suffering the consequences of previous generations rebellion.
